Instructions for Authors

Submissions to NEJLT are invited in all areas of language technology in Northern Europe and elsewhere (see also the main page). Articles in NEJLT are expected to present high quality scientific results and engage in well-founded scientific discussions.

Submissions must be written in English. British or American English is accepted as long as consistency is observed. Articles are normally expected to be between 10 and 30 pages. Articles must be submitted in PDF via the Manuscript Submission System.

The submission of an article to NEJLT for refereeing implies that no part of it has been copyrighted and that it has not been published in or submitted to another refereed archival publication, including proceedings. Extended versions of conference papers by the authors are acceptable as submissions, provided the extensions in relation to previously published or submitted papers are substantial and clearly identified. The submitted text must be available for peer review without restriction.

All submissions will be refereed by three anonymous experts. There will be an opportunity to submit a revised version if changes are requested. Articles will be published as soon as they are in their final state.

Articles in NEJLT should adhere to the NEJLT publication style. Authors are advised to consult and use the journal's template (LaTeX, PDF, Open Office, MS Word) in order to adhere to the NEJLT style.
